Túlio Costa

Túlio Humberto Pereira Costa (born June 2, 1969, in Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil), sometimes simply nicknamed Túlio or Túlio Maravilha for his great creativity on the field, Tulio is a veteran Brazilian international football (soccer) forward.

Túlio Costa, 1.75 meters tall, played for club teams Goiás, Sion (Switzerland), Botafogo, Corinthians, Vitória, Fluminense, Cruzeiro, Vila Nova, São Caetano, Santa Cruz, Újpest FC (Hungary), Wilstermann (Bolívia), Anapolina, Volta Redonda, Juventude, Fast,Itauçuense and Canedense. He won the Brazilian championship (Campeonato Brasileiro Série A) in 1995 and a cup known as Taça Cidade Maravilhosa in 1996, and scored more than 500 career goals.

Túlio was famous for scoring a controversial game-winning goal after the ball rolled down one of his arms in the (Catalan) quarterfinals in Uruguay, a rematch game the Brazilian team won against Abel Balbo's and Gabriel Batistuta's Argentina 2-1.

In a match against Trindade, Túlio scored the 700th goal of his career while playing with Canedense.
