[edit] vietnamese french...

i moved the vietnamese french article here because vietnamese french is actually a dialect of french, not the creole known as tay boi. gaidheal 04:29, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

I don't know about that.

I agree that Tay boi is NOT creole.

[edit] Parler

Parler is to speak or to talk, not to say, that would be dire. I've changed that.

[edit] Problems

Parler is not the only word that is mistranslated.

[edit] What's this about + john who?

I don't think the part with that one gringo president nominée who speaks perfect french belongs to Tây Bôi article. Not only because it lacks sources, but also because a random yank boasting with excellent French is not a good example for an excyclopedia. Also, the 'language' seems to be just broken french used for communication between Vietnamese and Flenchmen - unlike, say, the Haitian Creole. That, though, maybe just seems so because not enough details are given. 84.167.224.12 17:40, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

I agree. It looks out of place, and purely speculative. If we had a quote from Kerry on his exposure to Tây Bôi, it would be another story. -- Calcwatch 03:42, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
