Hello, I'm Syntacticus, (as of September 2006) a brand new Wikipedian in Washington, D.C., center of the U.S. political universe. It may take me a while to produce a worthwhile user page because I am not terribly familiar with how to do it, so be patient.

I am a barely middle-aged word nerd fascinated by all the quirky neologisms I've seen flying around throughout Wikipedia.

I wish I knew how to put the cool icons on this page, reflecting languages known or various interests or affiliations. Eventually, I will figure it out (or so I hope).
