The previous version of the article stated that the use of harpsichord continuo is a humorous anachronism; this is patently false. Harpsichord continuo was common, and many "piano" concerti and sonatas from this time were in fact played on the harpsichord. What is humorous about the harpsichord in this symphony is that it is actually given an obbligato solo, instead of being a mere continuo instrument as is usual.
