Sylvie Fréchette (born June 27, 1967 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired Canadian synchronized swimmer, who won a gold medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics and a silver in the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 1999, she was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. She has also contributed as a swimmer, designer, and coach to the synchronized-swimming portions of Cirque du Soleil's "O," which opened at the Bellagio hotel, in Las Vegas, in 1998.
