Sylvia Hale

Sylvia Phyllis Hale is an Australian politician, she has been a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council since 2003 , for The Greens. She was previously a member No Aircraft Noise Party 1994 - 1999. She joined the Greens New South Wales in 2000. She was a Councillor on Marrickville Council 1995 - 2004.

She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Graduate Diploma in Education (DipEd) , 1964 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) 1998.

She is a social justice, community and environmental campaigner. Her past occupations include spot welder, shop assistant, clerk, teacher and book publisher. She was involved in student activism at the University of Sydney during the 1960s
