Sylvain Calzati is a French road bicycle racer born on July 1, 1979 in Lyon. He turned professional during the year 2003 with Team Barloworld, but is currently a member of Ag2r Prévoyance riding the UCI ProTour circuit. His biggest success is winning the 8th Stage in the 2006 Tour de France. He also won the Tour de l'Avenir in 2004. He currently lives in Genay with his wife Aurélia and daughter Emma.
