Sylvain Beaudry

Sylvain Beaudry is 33 years old and was born and raised in Verner, a small town just outside of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. He is currently seeking the nomination for the Liberal Party of Canada in the riding of Nickel Belt for the next federal election.
Before entering the race for the nomination in Nickel Belt, Sylvain was an Associate Vice President for the largest public relations firm in North America. Previous to his private sector experience, Sylvain spent 8 years as a Canadian government official. He began his career with the Canadian Revenue Agency, followed by stints at the Canadian International Development Agency, eventually working his way up to being a trade negotiator for the Canadian Government at the World Trade Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland. After his 8 years as a government official, Sylvain spent 4 years as a political advisor to senior Cabinet Ministers in the Canadian Government including the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, Ralph Goodale; the Minister of Justice, Irwin Cotler and the Minister of Transport, Jean Lapierre.
Sylvain has a B.A. from Carleton University and is currently completing his masters in Public Administration. He is also a graduate in International Management from l’Ecole Nationale d’Administration Publique
