Sylfest Lomheim

Sylfest Lomheim (born 11 March 1945, Hafslo, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway) is a Norwegian philologist, and director of the Norwegian Language Council, Språkrådet. He is also amanuensis in the Norwegian language at Høgskolen i Agder

Lomheim has written works on translation and language standardisation, and has worked in NRK since 1980, both in radio and TV.
