Sycan River

The Sycan River is a tributary of the Sprague River, approximately 50 mi (80 km) long, in southwestern Oregon in the United States. The headwaters are in the Sycan Marsh, a vast wetlands and Nature Conservancy preserve within the Fremont National Forest in southern Lake County, approximately 40 mi (64 km) northwest of Lakeview. Numerous creeks and springs gather in the marsh and exit to the south making a rapid descent through a rugged canyon in an arid volcanic plateau known as "The Tablelands" east of the Cascade Range. where it joins the Sprague River from the north at Beatty, approximately 30 mi (48 km) northeast of Klamath Falls.
