Switched-On Schoolhouse

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Switched-On Schoolhouse is a computer program, used primarily by homeschoolers and students in private school. It was created by Alpha Omega Publications[1], a Christian education company. Every year, Switched-On Schoolhouse (or SOS) gets updated with a new version, usually having more features than the preceding year. The program spans a wide amount of subjects, including History, Science, Language Arts, and more.

[edit] Features

SOS includes support for an entire class of pupils, as well as a built-in private messaging system, and multiple school semesters. It contains a useful lesson-planning system, and allows the individual students to customize the layout of the program (via different skins).
