[edit] 2004 Summer Olympics (Sports)
Thanks for putting it back after the vandalism. I knew someone would be watching. :) Ben 05:36, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. Actually, if you hadn't said something on the talk page, I might have missed the vandalism, as someone else had made good edits after the vandalism had occured. Good catch! -- Jonel | Speak 05:38, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

- I read something strange the other day... the fact that judo was not in the 1968 Summer games in Mexico. It got me to thinking. I was wondering not just if judo was merely an international sport, but whether the weight classes fluxuated through time. That's kinda hard to check if there's no judo in the most recent summer games.
-
- On an unrelated note, I have a n00b question... How did you copy my comment over to my talk page? Is there a slick button combination I am not using? Thanks again. Ben 05:45, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

- No slick button combinations (edit my talk page, select text, ctrl-c, etc.). Not everyone copies comments, but I find it easier to keep track of what is being discussed that way. As for judo, Judo at the Summer Olympics provides a good summary (surprisingly enough, France has won more gold medals than Korea. The links at the bottom go to descriptions of the competitions at each Games (starting in 1964). The weight classes have indeed fluctuated. Apparently, there was even an open weight class for a while.

[edit] number of users?
Funny. Last time I read that, I swear I read something about user numbers at WP:WEB. The reasoning was that if the place only has an active userbase of about 100 people, the site is unlikely to satisfy WP:WEB criteria. A few more hits and my own site could get that, but that doesn't mean it should get a Wikipedia article. I was commenting on the number of users because the owner or creator mentioned it like it was something to be proud of. Does that make any sense? (I don't think this response is as coherent as it could be, but those are my scrambled thoughts). - Mgm|(talk) 19:01, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adoption Confirmed
Hi thanks Swerdnaneb for your faith in me. As said am off to bed now. I am normally online during the daytime Mon-Sat UK time and respond quite quickly to any questions. So fire away, whether it be on how to do something or how to approach another Wikipedian, I am here to help. Enjoy.
Oh, I have put the rather formal welcome note below as it has some useful links to look at. See you later. Cheers Lethaniol 00:25, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Tanzanians
Thank you. I hope to try to work on and improve the list (by sourcing it and making it more informative). If I am unable to do so to my satisfaction, I will re-prod the article. If I am able to improve it, I will let you know once I am mostly finished so that you may comment on it if you wish. Thank you again for your understanding. I usually only contest {{prod}} notices after I have attempted and succeeded in addressing the concerns raised. I contested the prod without any change to the article this time because the {{prod}} tag was set to expire in less than 20 minutes and I had been unable to get to it earlier. I will work on the article within the next 24 hours and see what I can make of it. Cheers, Black Falcon 07:46, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- Following extensive research and a series of cost-benefit considerations, the article is confirmed as a a probable liability. After looking at the article and possible ways to expand it (and make it more informative), I really don't know whether it's worth the trouble. The category already does a fairly good job. I will give it a try tomorrow by actually editing the article (so far I've just been looking through candidate articles) and if it's still problematic, I will re-prod. Cheers, Black Falcon 07:50, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Huh?
the content is predated as are most books for production. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hibbs8 (talk • contribs).

[edit] You’re serious SULLENEARTH
Why is this being contested? This is clearly a legitimate company with published works that are verified. What is the reason for any article on this website if not for sparking the interest of a specific subject? Seriously though, what would be the point? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Teri7 (talk • contribs) 15:12, 3 April 2007 (UTC).
