Swedish National Road Administration

The Swedish National Road Administration, Vägverket, is a government agency in Sweden. Its primary responsibility is to build and maintain the road network in Sweden, but also includes the vehicle register and issuing of driver's licenses[1]. Its headquarters are located in Borlänge, Sweden The Riksdag and the Government of Sweden decide what direction the work of the Swedish National Road Administration is to have.
Sweden has one of the most well-maintained road systems in the world[2].
