The Swansea Metrolink stations lies in between two major Illinois Highways, IL 159 and IL 161. Amenities near by include a Schnucks supermarket (the main anchor of Swansea Plaza), a Phillips 66, McDonald's, Walgreens, Wendy's, Applebee's, FCB Bank, UMB Bank, and a US Bank soon to open inside of Schnucks.
