Swallow, Lincolnshire

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For the bird called a swallow, see Hirundinidae.

Swallow is a small village in Lincolnshire, on the A46 road just northeast of Caistor. The village has a small war memorial, and is noted by motorists for the notorious speed camera.

Its name most likely comes from a theorized Anglo-Saxon word swalwe = "rushing stream".
