Sveti Andrija (Croatian for Saint Andrew), sometimes also called Svetac (Croatian for saint) is an island in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. It is situated 14 nautical miles from Komiža (a town on island Vis). It is uninhabited, although it used to have permanent residents. Remains of Byzantine origin can be found on the island.[1]
