Suyamvaram (1999) is a Tamil film directed by a host of directors. The film stars many top stars from Kollywood The film's score and soundtrack are composed by five top music directors. The film was described as a magnum opus by Kollywood legends Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan at the pooja ceremony. The film holds the Guinness World Record for the most top actors in a film and also the award for the quickest ever full feature length film made[citation needed]. It took 23 hours to make from shooting to editing to release and was a landmark film in Kollywood. The film made a massive 51 crores and was deemed a hit.

The film made on a Rs.25 crore budget opened huge in Tamil Nadu and within three days the producers were looking at profits. It was a super hit at the box office, it raised business for all actors and the soundtrack was an even bigger success. Raised approximately 50 crores.
