Surya Dharma Paloh (born 16 July 1951 in Kutaraja, Aceh) is an Indonesian media tycoon who owns the Media Indonesia daily newspaper and Metro TV, a 24-hour news television network. Surya Paloh is also active in politics and he is the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Golkar Party, the biggest political party in Indonesia.
