Survivor Series 1989 was the third annual Survivor Series pay-per-view professional wrestling event for the World Wrestling Federation. It took place on Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 1989 at the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, Illinois.
This was the first Survivor Series event to feature team names. It was also the first Survivor Series to feature 4 on 4 tag matches instead of 5 on 5.

- Bad News Brown replaced Akeem, who had been advertised as being part of the Enforcers vs. Dream Team match.
- Earthquake replaced Barry Windham, who had been advertised as being part of the King's Court vs. 4x4's match.
- Heenan replaced Tully Blanchard, who had been advertised as being part of the Heenan Family vs. Ultimate Warriors match. Tully Blanchard was fired from the WWF the day of the PPV for "failing a drug test" (kayfabe).
