[edit] Style
Surreal brings the more advanced musicality and form of progressive rock together with the accessibility of more popular music. Their music portrays a generally positive undertone with a sense of subtle originality. On the stage Surreal establishes an enthralling and different personality by subtracting themselves from the darkness of modern rock and instead trying to create an energetic, enchanting atmosphere.
[edit] History
The band SurreaL was formed in 2004 by Corey Lennox (songwriter, frontman, and bassist) and his friend Brandon Horsley (pianist). Quickly after direction was established, the drummer, Kyle McCarthy, was added and the three jammed and wrote rashly composed songs until a niche was developed for each member. For a short duration Chris Lombardi held the position of guitarist and the band played its first concert. After a busy summer Chris stepped down from the band and a new friend Max Eve took his place and the four piece has kept the same line up ever since.
