Surelere Stadium

Surelere Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lagos, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches. When the stadium was built in 1972 it had a capacity of 45,000.

In 1999 the capacity was reduced to 40,000.

It was used in the African nations cup of 2000 which was jointly hosted by Ghana and Nigeria. The final was held at Surelere, where Cameroon defeated Nigeria to win the Championship.
