[edit] Welcome!

Hello, Supermorff, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at the Guide to layout, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
  • Full details on Wikipedia style can be found in the Manual of Style.
Happy editing!

[edit] WoD articles et al

What's with all that merging in the World of Darkness? You spent the last two days merging perfectly fine articles into larger ones, without discussing the redirects anywhere with anyone. I'm not saying the result is wrong (though in the case of the Sabbat and the Camarilla I think it may), but common practice and courtesy demand that you ask beforehand (at least using the merge templates). --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 14:02, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

Does it? I apologise. My additions of merge templates tend to be ignored in other areas, so I've developed the sometimes unfortunate habit of acting regardless. Feel free to revert... well... whatever. I realise that the Sect merge may have been slightly over the top, though I think the rest was probably worth it. -- Supermorff 14:06, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

Incidentally, what does common practice and courtesy demand about replying to these comments on my talk page? It's never happened before. -- Supermorff 14:08, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

Some people reply in the same place, others use the other person's talk page. I prefer doing it like this, so that the talk pages do look like there were two people talking.
If other people ignore your merge tags, one thing you can do is go to the history of the page and find who were the major contributors. Unless they were odd one-time editors, they probably have something to say. Of course, nobody "owns" anything here and nobody individually has any rights on a particular page (that's why it's courtesy, not law). Another thing you can do is ask for others to take a look, by dropping a comment at WP:RFC or WP:DA or WP:CU. WP:DA is for merge proposals especifically; WP:CU is cleanup (if an article needs to be summarized and then merged, for example, you could list it there). WP:RFC is for comments on article content. Before any of this, of course, do use the merge templates, and be patient. ;) I'm probably going to un-merge Sabbat and Camarilla, but I need to take a close look at the rest. --Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 20:44, 6 September 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, that's cool. Be aware that with some of them I did add some information of my own (not a lot, mind you). Thanks for the advice, by the way. You may notice I added a merge template on one of the other WoD pages. I forget which one, however. Ah well. -- Supermorff 20:48, 6 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Power Rangers

I just wanted to personally thank you for making alterations in category to the Power Rangers planets et al. I'm glad you are working to help these articles and others. Once again, thank you :) --Shawn 20:58, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hector Elizondo

(The rest of this discussion at Talk:Hector Elizondo)

I'm Sorry, I didn't realize that I had reverted the "cats" which you added. I promise that I'll fix that. It great to have people lkie you in the Pedia who believe in the art of conversasion instead of jumpimg to a heated discussion. Thank you, Tony the Marine 18:01, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Caleb09

Hi i'm a n00b so uh ya could you help me with the article codes ciphers & other cryptic & clandestine communication Caleb09

[edit] !

What is a long paragraph about Guns n' Moses doing on a Nic Sampson page (even though it is his fomer band)?

I do not know. I merely added the category to that page and had very little to do with its actual content. -- Supermorff 18:44, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Minnie Goodsoup

I saw you corrected the name Minnie Stronie to Minestrone. However I think that her full name was Minerva Stronie Goodsoup. Pictureuploader 20:12, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

Was it? Very well then. -- Supermorff 20:15, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Power Rangers series

I don't think there is really any need for this category. It is essentially going to be a list of the series, as you are organizing them by the order of production. This was removed from the main Category:Power Rangers because it was disruptive to the flow of the category. Please stop adding the series to this category. Ryulong 21:27, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Fine. Cease and desist order has been received. Although I disagree with you about the so-called "flow" of the category. If anything, I think spacing them around the category instead of ordering them chronologically has itself disrupted the flow of the category, which was why I selected this time to create the new one. As a compromise, is it acceptable for me to move all the articles out of the parent category to the subcategory as I had intended, but ordering them alphabetically instead of chronologically? -- Supermorff 21:34, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

That I can agree with, however, I think that the series should be kept in the parent category, as well. Ryulong 21:39, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
I will assist you with this, and remove it from CFD. Ryulong 21:41, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. Your help is much appreciated. -- Supermorff 21:42, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I now agree with your suggestion to remove them from the parent category. There are very little (if any) articles that are listed in both a parent and subcategory. Ryulong 22:07, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Yes, and most of them are representative of the subcategory as a whole (as, for example, Zord and Category:Zords). I'll help remove them from the parent category. -- Supermorff 22:15, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, you beat me to it. -- Supermorff 22:15, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
I apologize for my actions earlier. Ryulong 22:16, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
That's okay. Glad we could come to an agreement on it. -- Supermorff 22:18, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Power Rangers Characters Template

I've already created a main page for the SPD Power Rangers by moving B-Squad Rangers and doing what I did to Ninja Storm Power Rangers. Now, I'm not sure if we should remove the links for the Other Rangers in the template, especially those that aren't really affiliated with the main teams (Magna Defender, Mike Corbett, Quantum Ranger), however, a lot of the other ones can be eliminated. Ryulong 21:25, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that's tricky. On the one hand it would be nice to clear up that template, streamline it, with only the teams on there. On the other hand, those characters aren't well linked to from the team articles. It might be preferable to put these extraneous characters in brackets, e.g. Time Force Power Rangers (Quantum Ranger), just to differentiate them from the actual teams. What do you think? -- Supermorff 09:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gargoyles voice actors

Here is the category, Category:Gargoyles voice actors. But yeah, it should be noted on the characters main articles. Hurry up and decide something cause it has been proposed for deletion. I'd work on it, but now I'm fixin' the Gargoyles redirects which are like all over Wikipedia. I hope you log on quick and make that decision. See ya. Power level (Dragon Ball) 18:20, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I'm aware that a category already exists. I created it. The suggestion on the talk page was specifically to create a list because the category was up for deletion. I assume you're happy with a list instead, if it does end up being deleted? Or even if it doesn't? -- Supermorff 18:25, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Whatever works. I trust that you'll do what ya gotta do, right? Power level (Dragon Ball) 18:28, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] {{Sonic games}} inclusion criteria

Sorry, I meant to add this note to your talk page much earlier, but was busy at the time: :sweatdrop:

An inclusion criteria for {{Sonic games}} and related templates has been proposed at Template talk:Sonic games#Totally new inclusion criteria, with an introductory preamble at #Shadow III: Son of Shadow, #Proposed inclusion criteria, and #Inclusion of Sonic Rush. You are cordially invited to discuss the proposal.

davidh.oz.au 23:41, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for informing me about the current template discussion. I've now looked over the proposal and commented on it. -- Supermorff 13:03, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
