[edit] David Gill, M.D.
Please review the criteria at WP:BIO. Candidacy does not make a person notable. If he was elected it would. -- Malber (talk • contribs) 18:49, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- It might fall under an exception. But I think the first two bullets are intended to prevent multiple pages about local candidates. Think about this: if he doesn't win, will he still be notable? 10 years from now? I think AfD would be a bit much for an article that is still a stub after two months. -- Malber (talk • contribs) 19:41, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Electrical and electronics engineering
Hi Superdosh,
Thanks for your comments on Talk:Electrical and electronics engineering. I support your position that the article should be redirected to electrical engineering and have implemented such a redirect (see here). If the redirect gets reverted feel free to reinstate it per the survey's results but be careful not to revert it more than 3 times a day (WP:3RR). I know this may seem underhanded but Light current has been complaining about the electrical engineering article for well over four months without supporting any of the compromises I proposed. With the latest rejection of my proposal for a compromise I really don't know how this issue can be resolved through conversation. That said, please don't feel you have to get involved further with this issue if you don't want to and if you would like to try and reach a compromise with Light current yourself please feel free to try that approach as well.

[edit] Can we write on Swadhyay Parivar page that it's not their monopoly.
Thanks but no sir, can we allow a absolute false claim and just put a tag it is not their monopoly. I don't think, it would be appropriate. The present day followers of Pandurang Shashtri Athavale have been considering their activities super natural and resorted to violence when old Swadhyayees left Pandurang Shashtri for his wrongs and tried to carry on Swadhyay activities. One lady, Kantaben Thakkar was threatened to be un-dressed (remove her saree) if she went to take any Swadhyay centre of her own. Daughter-in-law of Prof.S.K.Joshi was threatened that she will be raped in presence of her husband and father-in-law if her father-in-law did not stop from exposing wrongs. Bones of old Swadhyayees like Vinoo Sanchania, Vinod Shah & Shakar Thakkar have been broken and ultimately Pankaj Trivedi killed on 15/06/2006 at Ahmedabad. Their killiers are Swadhyayee and have told in their confessional statement that Pankaj Trivedi was killed for protecting Vedic Culture. See their belief that Vedic Culture is their monopoly so they can kill anyone who they think is destroying Vedic Culture!!! What Pankaj Trivedi had done was exposing of non-utilisation of funds collected for Kutchch earth quake relief, Sought accounts of charitable trusts and filed a case for closing of a public temple created were Pankaj Trivedi was instrumental in it's creation.
If you can read Gujarati check www.gujaratsamachar.com or www.akilaindia.com and check July, 2006 news papers or let me know, if possible I will provide you links.
The sentence is grossly mis-leading.
What do every one think, should be done?

[edit] Swadhyay
Hi, from the history of the page, it is clear that it was previously re-directed to Svadhyaya before you changed it as per your note on Talk:Svadhyaya. A new user has removed the re-direct and made it into an article which you have reverted. Why not state your position on Talk:Swadhyay? I've tried to engage with this new user on his talk page. --Gurubrahma 16:11, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Will you pl. see the India Today article?
Will you pl. see the copy-pasted article of India Today on talk pages of Swadhyay Parivar along with my comments?
Swadhyayee 12:53, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Could you pl. tell me?
Do you have idea that the time mentioned in history of an article is what time? Is it U.S. time?

[edit] Age category
Hello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:
- Using an age group category, such as Category:Wikipedians in their 30s
- Using a decade category, such as Category:Wikipedians born in the 1970s.
If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 13:09, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
