Supermorff is a university student from Great Britain, and a self-confessed geek. He writes large amounts of fan-fiction, to escape the tedium of everyday life (see below for link).

He tends to edit fancruftian pages more than anything else (feel free to let me know the appropriate adjective of "fancruft"). This is not so much because he likes the source material (though he is familiar with much of it). Partly it is because reality scares him, whereas fantasy is comforting, and partly it is because many fancruftian articles are badly maintained (no offence to editors that work on them), and hence it is easy to see what needs improvement.

His general theory about Wikipedia pages is that short articles that would not stand alone *should* be merged into longer articles. Obviously, at a certain point, such longer articles need to be split into shorter ones, but that doesn't mean they should not have existed in the first place. Apparently that makes him a "Mergist". Oh, and sensibly titled categories should have at least four articles in them in order to be worth creating.

Now that Supermorff (who, you may have noticed, is lately referring to himself in the third person) has discovered userboxes, he finds he must restrain himself from adding so many that they outstrip the page's prose text. Otherwise it would just look silly.

Also, it's come to his attention that he can occasionally sound like a real condescending jerk on Wikipedia talk pages. It's completely unintentional and he's sorry. That doesn't mean he's going to act any differently, but he might try to act differently.
