Talk:Superdon

[edit] Is this a real word?
A search on Google for this word (excluding "wikipedia" to get rid of the mirrors) comes up with hits that are largely irrelevant. Account names, a World of Warcraft page, statistics. Nothing to do with the topic of this article. We say "Andrew Marr mentions the cult of the Superdon as indicative of our love of celebrity in his book My Trade". Does he actually use the word, then, or does he just describe a phenomenon?
Either way, is one use (or coinage, even?) of a term, which has not been picked up by the mainstream, enough for an article?

- Yes - the word used is actually 'superdon'. And i have heard it used before, so I thinnk it exists in the mainstream, Google research notwithstanding. Honest guv. Pydos 22:22, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Neologism?
I am not convinced that this is not an attempt at neologism, since it is practically uncited, except for a few references which appear to talk about the concept rather than the word itself. Unless evidence can be provided that this word exists in common usage I will nominate it for deletion. Cripipper 11:17, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
