Supernova is a text adventure game written by Scott Miller for MS-DOS, published by Apogee Software (now 3D Realms). The story of the game was written by Scott Miller and Terry Nagy.

The game was originally distributed as shareware. It was one of the two games (the other being Beyond the Titanic) that were released by Apogee not using the Apogee Model, but as traditional shareware.

The Turbo Pascal 3.0 source code was for sale for $125.

Supernova was re-released as freeware by Apogee on March 10, 1998. See also list of commercial games released as freeware.
