Super Mouse is a platform arcade game released by Taito in 1982.

[edit] Plot

The player controls a mouse collecting a stash of food that is scattered around the house. Opposing the mouse are cats and cobras, which pop up out of nowhere. He's not exactly helpless, though. He has bombs which can be layed and detonate, rocks on top of the house to drop, floors that move across when the mouse step on them and pools of water under bridges that can be opened by walking over them. All these can kill cats and cobras, if the player use them right.

[edit] Trivia

  • A bootleg of this game called Funny Mouse was released by Chuo the same year.
  • A modified version of Super Mouse released by Techstar is known as Macho Mouse. This version changes totally the game style from platform to a Qix-style game. It was sold as a conversion kit.
