Super Monkey Ball 3 was a game that was originally planned to come out for the Nintendo GameCube, as a sequel to Super Monkey Ball 2. However, the game was later cancelled, for unknown reasons. Super Monkey Ball 3 was rumoured to feature LAN support so up to 8 players could play multiplayer games. The codename title for the game was "Banana Blitz".[citation needed]
Elements from Super Monkey Ball 3 might have been reused in the newer Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.
[edit] Trivia
- The "other" codename for this game was Banana Crazy.
- This game was going to feature 8-player multiplayer mode (4-players on two televisions). It would of used LAN of course to make that possible.
