Super 8 is the second round of the Cricket World Cup tournament. The top 2 teams from each group, in the group stage, advance to the super 8 and carry their points forward from previous match against the team advancing alongside them. The "super 8" teams play the 6 other teams that advanced from the other groups. The top four teams from the "Super 8" stage progress to the semi-finals.
