  • Not the same. Sun Grid Engine (SGE) is cluster server software, while Sun Grid is a hosted service. I don't know if Sun Grid even uses SGE to implement it on the backend. -- Bovineone 15:00, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
    • FYI the Sun Grid machines are x86-64 machines that use Solaris 10 and the Sun Grid Engine software --PdDemeter 23:15, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
