Suntree, Florida

Suntree is a town in Brevard County, Florida, United States. It is located near the center of the county, off I-95 near Viera between Interstate 95 and the Florida East Coast Railroad. It has more subdivisions than Viera. A smaller community called Baytree lies west of Interlachen Road. It lies approximately halfway between Rockledge and Melbourne. The population was 20,194 at the 2000 census.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 20,194 people. The racial makeup was 93.2% White, 3.1% African American, 2.8% Asian, and 1.0% from two or more races.

The gender split was almost even, with 49% being male, and 51% female.

The median income for a household was $61,601.
