Sungai Siput

Sungai Siput is a town in Kuala Kangsar district, Perak, Malaysia. It is represented by Samy Vellu, the Minister of Works and president of Malaysian Indian Congress, in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of Malaysian Parliament.
AHAMAD BIN PAKEH ADAM from Barisan Nasional is the current state representive for Lintang state and CHANG KO YOUN from Barisan Nasional is the current State Local Government Committee chairman for Jalong state.
S.M.J.K Shing Chung is the largest secondary school in Sungai Siput.
