Sunetra Sarker

Sunetra Sarker Corfield (born 1973 in Liverpool) is a British actress and a Hindu. She has played many roles, including Nisha Batra in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside from 1988 to 1990 and then again from 2000 until 2003, and Anji Mittel in No Angels, again for Channel 4, from 2004 until 2006. She also guested in the roles of Priti Chowdry in Emmerdale (ITV1) and Monique in The Smoking Room (BBC Three).
Married to Nick Corfield in August 2003, she gave birth to their first child, Noah, on June 9, 2005.
