Sune Sik Sverkersson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sune Sik Sverkersson (born c. 1154) is a medieval person whose existence has no support in contemporary documents.
Whether he is a later invention to embellish certain people's genealogical ancestry and claims to throne, or a real but unattested person, is a matter of opinion, as research apparently cannot do anything more.
According to later myths, he would have been a younger son of King Sverker I of Sweden, possibly from his marriage with Rikissa of Poland. Same mythology positions Sune Sik as father of Ingrid Ylva.
