Srimathi Sundaravalli Memorial (SSM) School is named after Srimathi Sundaravalli, the mother of the founder Mr. Santhanam. The school is located in Nagappa Nagar, Chromepet.

Currently, the school has montessori, first standard to 10th standard in C.B.S.E cyllabus. Classes 11 and 12 come under its sister concern school called Devanathan Higher Secondary School.

The school began as a project to become a 'school of excellence'[1].
