Sun Green is the name of a Neil Young song from the Greendale album. The song is named after a character, played by Sarah White, in the accompanying stage show and movie. The song tells the story of Sun's increasing her environmental activism, being arrested for marijuana possession, and meeting a young man named Earth Brown and deciding to go to Alaska with him.

Sun Green is also the name of a character played by Pell James in the 2005 Jim Jarmusch film Broken Flowers.
