This picture shows the large walking dragline Sundew which opperated in the UK between the 1950s and 1980s.

The picture was taken in ~July/August 1986 by Mr D King.

For an idea of scale, the photographers children, aged around six and ten at the time of capture, can be seen standing infront of the machine towards it's rear.
