Talk:Summa Theologiae
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
User:Wau2 moved "Summa Theologiae" to "Summa Theologica" and placed here a work by Alberus Magnus.
It is not Albertus Magnus most famous work. And this title should be reserved to Aquinas' work. Any article on Albertus Magnus' work should bear the title "Summa Theologiae (Albertus Magnus)". Andres 17:32, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed. I'm making the changes... David aukerman talk 19:44, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Aquinas vs. Magnus
To whom it may concern: Please don't force Aquinas' work to the page entitled Summa Theologica and replace Summa Theologiae with Magnus' work. There are far too many references on Wikipedia to Aquinas' work as "Summa Theologiae" which would subsequently be broken. The disambiguation page at Summa Theologica is a good solution, provided someone create a Summa Theologica (Albertus Magnus) page for that man's work. David aukerman talk 23:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Albertus Magnus' work is known under the title Summa theologiae rather than Summa theologica. Antoninus work is known under both names. I think that instead of disambiguation pages we need disambiguation links to those other works in the beginning of this article. "Summa Theologica" is very often used about Aquinas' work, so it should redirect here. Andres 07:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The discussion page
The previous discussion concerning this article is now under Talk:Summa Theologica. It should be restored here somehow. Andres 07:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
