Summoner

Summoner is a common fantasy term, used in many contexts with different meanings:

  • Summoner (game), a computer and video game series
  • Summoner, or Caller, is the name of a character class in the Final Fantasy video game series
  • Summoner (Wicca), the person in a traditional Wiccan Coven with the responsibility (among other duties) of calling Coven members to a meeting, or ritual.
  • The Summoner, a character in The Summoner's Prologue and Tale, from The Canterbury Tales
