Summerside is a Canadian pop rock music band from Oakville, Ontario. They have released one album, Lessons on How To Detach in 2005. They are currently signed to Bullion Records. Bullion Records is an independent Japanese record label.

Lessons on How To Detach helped to earn the band notability in both Canada and Japan. The band has been more successful in Japan then in their own country of Canada. Lessons on How To Detach was released in Japan in May 2006, and saw moderate success, selling many thousands of records. Summerside most known for their simplistic pop oriented rock songs. Critics have said that Summerside offer a fresh take on the pop punk genre.UK Review Summerside plays nearly 200 live concerts yearly around North America and Japan. They performed on the 2006 Warped Tour alongside bands like Motion City Soundtrack , Bouncing Souls, My American Heart, Rise Against , Billy Talent.



Summerside is currently in production for their new album Saved which is being produced by Chris Gordon. The album is expected to be released in early 2007.
