Summer Wind Was Always Our Song

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Summer Wind Was Always Our Song is a song, released as a single by The Ataris off their third album End Is Forever.

The song deals with the death of a relationship and is written from the point of view of someone who wants the other person back.

The title (and part of the lyrics) references the song Summer Wind by Frank Sinatra, which was a song that songwriter Kris Roe and his wife Denice used to tell the other one that they were at a particular bar.

The accompanying music video tells the story of how Roe & Denice met, interspersed with footage from a live show.
