Summer Bishil (July 17, 1988) is an American television and movie actress. She was born in Pasadena, California.

Summer and her family moved to Saudi Arabia when she was three. When her father was offered a job there in banking, two years later, her International Banker father was transferred to the small Island Kingdom of Bahrain, before Summer and her brother along with their Mom finally returned to Southern California. Summer's father is a Saudi Arabian citizen of Indian decent while her mother is an American.

In love with the idea of becoming an actress since the age of five, Summer was 14 before she took her first acting class. Nine months later, she was signed by a manager and agency. Bishil is slated to play the lead, in Alan Ball's as yet untitled film adaptation of the novel Towelhead. Currently in negotiations for Wayne Kramer's new project, "Crossing Over." Slated to start filming in April 2007. Is listed on several prediction sites for best actress nom in 2008.
