[edit] Removed link to Lilith Institute

I don't think this link belongs here for several reasons -

1. Lilith is a demon, not a goddess.

2. This is a page about Sumerian goddesses in general, with links to separate Wikipedia pages about specific goddesses.

3. There is a specific Wikipedia page about Lilith - links to Lilith should go to there, not to an external site.

4. The Lilith Institute is not really a very useful resource in this context, being primarily a study center for feminist spirituality, not Mesopotamian mythology. Relevant content is negligible not on the page linked to.

Response from The Lilith Institute, April 2007:

1. Lilith is regarded by many as a goddess who has been demonized by patriarchal views and systems. Everything about her costume in the sculpture which lives in the British Museum, for instance -- known as The Lady of the Night (and formerly as "the Burney Relief" -- shows her wearing garb and holding symbols of both divinity and royalty.
