Sukhvinder Singh Namdhari is a tabla player based in the UK.

Considered as one of the best of the young tabla players from India, Sukhvinder Singh comes from Ludhiana, in Punjab. After receiving a sound foundation in Pakhawaj playing from Ustad Nihal Singh, Sukhvinder went to Varanasi (Banaras), and for several years received meticulous training and guidance from none other than the legendary Pandit Kishen Maharaj, the best known and internationally acclaimed exponent of the Banaras gharana of tabla playing.

Sukhvinder has had a meteoric rise in popularity as an accompanist after several successful concert tours in India and abroad with leading artistes, such as Ustad Vilayat Khan (sitar), Ustad Amjad Ali Khan (sarod), Pandit Ram Narayan (sarangi), Budhaditya Mukherjee (sitar), Ustad Imrat Khan (sitar), Ustad Shahid Parvez (sitar), Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia (flute), Pandit Rajan & Pandit Sajan Misra (vocal), Pandit Jasraj (vocal) and Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (guitar). He has also accompanied Pandit Ravi Shankar on some of his recent concerts in Europe.
