Suite Studio Group

Founded in 2001, Suite Studio Group is an artist run studio co-operative in Salford. The studio comprises a broad range of practices and a particular feature is its focus on mutual critical support with members meet on a regular basis for group crits. Artists and curators from outside the group have also been invited to participate in these discussions.
In addition to the nine artists who have spaces within the studio building, Suite also offers membership to a limited number of artists who wish to be part of an artists’ network but have no need for a studio space.
Suite’s artists have continued to shown their work nationally and internationally with venues stretching from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Russia and Ireland to the US. Recent prestigious exhibitions include The John Moore’s Painting Prize, Jerwood Drawing Prize, Aspex Emergency and the Oriel Mostyn Open.
