Suija (水邪) is a video game character in the Samurai Shodown series.

Suija is a powerful demon who was freed recently. He took a human form taking the body of one of the Kazuki clan, who was investigatng about bad energies close to a lake (where Suija was). Suija was determined to take the spell of Jinma-Itai from Kuraki-sumeragi, so he now wants to reunite with his friend Enja to steal that spell.

Suija is based in Sogetsu Kazama's Bust form from Samurai Shodown 3D games (SS64 and Warriors Rage), having all his Bust powers from those games and from Samurai Shodown IV.
Suija is the demon sealed in Sogetsu's weapon. At some intervals in his life, his spirit seeps through the seal and takes possession of Sogetsu's mind and body (see above).
The differences between Suija and Enja are the same between Sogetsu and Kazuki, but more extremely marked than Kazama brothers. In this case, Suija's more of a narcissist and self-confident than Sogetsu's.
Suija has one of the bloodiest fatalities in Samurai Shodown V Special. He uses telekinesis to raise the opponent and then crush him in the air, finishing to a blood shower over Suija.
