Sueño Libertador

The Sueño Libertador (Liberator Dream) is a Spanish phrase used in the context of winning or attempting on winning the Copa Libertadores football (soccer) competition. It is widely used by the Spanish media in Latin America. Thus, when a team gets eliminated from the competition, it is said that the team has awakened from the liberator dream.
