Sudhakarrao Naik

Sudhakarrao Naik was an Indian politician who served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 1991 until 1993.Born at remote village of vidarbha,gavli.He was nephew of Mr Vasantrao Naik who was CM of Maharashtra for 11 years. He did start his political career from base i.e as Sarpanch.Started his constitutional career from Pusad.His role as Educational Minister is still held with high importance.Mr. Sharad Pawar handovered his post when he was called at Center. Mr Naik's tenure as Chief Minister was the most unforgettable era for Mumbai Underworld as he started to destroy their money and muscle power.The differences with Sharad Pawar proved expensive for him as he had to resign.But he is also remembered for his work in water conservation.
