"Suddenly It Happens" is a song from the Academy Award nominated score song of The Slipper and the Rose. It was written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and performed in the film by Gemma Craven as Cinderella and Annette Crosbie as the Fairy Godmother.

The film was chosen to be the Royal Command Performance film of 1976.
"Suddenly It Happens" was originally written in 1969 for another Sherman Brothers project entitled, Busker Alley.
