Suburban Kid is the first album by the Australian singer Bob Evans (real name Kevin Mitchell). Singles from the album "Turn" and "Friday Come Five" when released were put high rotation on Triple J & received solid support on Triple M & community radio around Australia. Film clips for both tracks aired on Rage, MTV and CH[V].
Special guests helping Bob Evans out on Suburban Kid include members of Jebediah, Ammonia, Adam Said Galore, Little Birdy and End of Fashion.
The album was released on 8 September, 2003 and re-released on 28 August, 2006 following the succesful relase of Bob Evans' second album Suburban Songbook.
